About Me.

Hi! My name is Ishaan. I am a first-year Sport Management student at Brock University, in the class of 2028.

As a high school student, I consistently obtained excellent grades (92% average!) and worked to improve myself. I was involved in my school and community in activities such as minor league baseball, student government, umpiring, and volunteer scorekeeping. I graduated high school with honors and multiple scholarships. These experiences have helped me build excellent leadership and teamwork skills, as well as a strong work ethic.

Currently attending Brock University, I have already made an impact in my community. I am a volunteer for Best Buddies Canada and the Thorold Community Activities Group. Both of these incredible organizations are dedicating to bettering the lives of individuals in the Niagara region. I am dedicated to bettering my community and furthering my soft skills.

I am hoping this website impresses industry professionals willing to help me achieve my dreams of working in an NHL front office. My passion for sport, as well as my strong leadership and communication skills, would make me an invaluable asset to any sport organization. Please reach out to me on any of the listed connections below!

2019-2024

Burnaby, BC
Burnaby Central Secondary School

I have decided to move across the country to pursue my dream of working in sport. I am currently enrolled in Brock University's Sport Management program. I have already made an impact in the community, as I am a volunteer for Best Buddies Canada @ Brock University, as well as the Thorold Community Activities Group.

In the summer of 2022, I had the pleasure of working as a receptionist and client support specialist at Sands & Associates. Sands & Associates is a bankruptcy firm dedicated to assisting individuals in financial difficulties. On a daily basis, I answered and directed 20-30 calls, booked appointments, and sorted client files. I broke the firm record of 40 calls answered in a day, and was asked to write a best practices report to train future employees in my role. This experience helped me understand professional conduct and communication in a workplace.

In June 2024, I graduated high school with multiple principal's list awards. I was an executive member of Burnaby Central's Student Government, and the marketing manager for The Care Project BC @ Burnaby Central Secondary. My time at Burnaby Central allowed me to develop strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong work ethic. I hope to apply these skills in my career in sport to ensure success.

2017-2024

New Westminster, BC
New West Baseball Assoc.

I have played baseball from the age of 10. As a member of the New West Baseball Association and New West Diamondsides, I have been a consistent all-star and selects player as a catcher. I am also a registered Little League umpire, and refereed many minor league games. Because of baseball, I have developed an exceptional understanding of baseball and teamwork skills, which will be invaluable in my future career in the sports industry.
